The 255P Gold Hookit™ high-quality sanding discs achieve a smooth, professional finish with 3M™ Gold 6 inch Abrasive Discs. Engineered for performance and durability, these sanding discs are ideal for automotive, woodworking, metalworking, and all general-purpose lightweight sanding projects. Featuring a long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive, they deliver fast, consistent cuts with minimal clogging, ensuring maximum productivity.

Usable, and Tough

An aluminium oxide abrasive combines a fast cut with a long disc life. Load-resistant coating with a 6-15 hole design, it prevents dust and debris from clogging the disc, and the 3M Hookit™ system is easy to change and reuse, maximising productivity and minimising waste and cost.

Long Lasting, Easy-To-Use Abrasive Discs for a Range of Applications

The 3M™ Hookit™ system is easy to use and delivers faster, more efficient sanding at every stage of paint prep and body repair.

Designed for all kinds of automotive sanding applications, the sanding discs feature a specially designed multi-hole pattern that reduces loading, extends the life of the disc and works well with most brands of backup pads. The multi-hole pattern evacuates dust better than 6-hole products, increasing cut-rate and disc life. When used with a 3M™ Clean Sanding Disc Pad, the disc holes do not require alignment with the pad holes, making switching the discs fast, easy, and convenient.

Disc changes are easy with the Hookit™ attachment, using a ‘velcro’ style quick hook and loop surface for secure attachment. Additionally, the abrasive grains are designed to continue cutting even when sanding paints and other materials that would otherwise clog the disc and hinder sanding ability. This equals better productivity and fewer disc changes.
